Had never been to Chawi. Google searched "watches for sale Danbury CT" and saw that the reviews were very favorable. That would describe my experience and then some. It was a bit of a challenge to find the Seiko Presage Classic SPB 525 in Ai-Iru blue. There it was! Salesperson David was professional and well informed, clearly a watch enthusiast. All of my questions, many of them technical, were answered easily. There aren't many choices in the greater Danbury area for watch shopping and even if there were, i wouldn't hesitate to do business at Chawi. I stopped in to replace a battery in a watch. I realized they have a repair technician. I have an old Longines watch I purchased in the early 80's that doesn't work.They told me to bring it in. They would check it out. They were able to identify what was wrong repair it and clean it up for me at an extremely fair price. So happy I stumbled across them. To say I had a good experience is a major understatement. It was a phenomenal experience. I contacted Chawi Jewelers during my search for an ORIS watch I was interested in. I connected with Aidan over the phone, who was able to take my deposit and order the watch from ORIS, and it arrived 48 hours later! I made an appointment for pickup later in the week, and during that entire week, Aidan texted back and forth with me as we nerded out together about all the watches we own or would like to own, as we shared our mutual watch collecting experience! I asked him to find other watches for my partner and they were well prepared for our arrival! We arrived for our appt and after exploring all the ORIS watches, Aidan's colleague David kindly took the time to help my partner find her watch of choice. She's drawn to 1920's and 30's era styles and David was able to present half a dozen watches that perfectly fit her tastes! Shortly after, we purchased a second watch, this time for her!
